Jenny and Wayne have run The Crown as licensees since Spring 2004. We are proud to play a part in the community, running a small village and hosting darts, dominoes, supporting and creating football and cricket teams for local games.
The Crown is a 19tyh Century pub, recently refurbished. The refurbishment has improved the The Crown without casuing it to lose any of its friendly, rustic atmosphere.
We serve all manner of drinks, but as is expected we have an excellent selection of ales. We serve two permanent ales, Banks's Beitter and Mild, together with four guest ales. The choice and quality of these ales has led The Crown to be awarded the Cask Marque two years running. We also keep a good selection of fine wines.
We have a 40 cover non-smoking lounge bar for our diners comfort and enjoyment. Parking is situated at the back of the pub, and there is another space for 30 cars.
As well as catering for those who wish to dine with us, we are more than happy to host special events that requie a nice location, good food and a drink.
